On the project: 3.3 km long water pipe, 1.2 km polyethylene pipe with a diameter of 800 mm, 2.1 km steel pipe of 28" diameter.
The plan included:
Breakthrough of 8 meters wide path through a grove, for the purpose of executing and maintaining the line in coordination with the JNF.
Preparing a tree survey by a landscape architect.
Examining the impact of explosions of an active quarry near the route of the line on the type of pipe and the way the canal is covered by using seismic sensors.
In accordance with the findings, a polyethylene pipe was designed about 1.2 Km long near the quarry.
Detailed design for an 800 mm diameter polyethylene tube includes detailed characterization of the connection accessories.
